uring the canoe weekend, you can escape your daily routine and take some time to recharge your batteries. Enjoy the beautiful nature you encounter on your trip from Geraardsbergen (Overboelare) to Aalst for three days. You will depart between 6 pm and 7 pm at the Bruggenhuis in Overboelare (Majoor Van Lierdelaan 50, 9500 Geraardsbergen). It is important that you are present at the departure location on time.

To test your true adventure skills, it's up to you to prepare the trip, which means you will need to arrange for overnight accommodations and the necessary equipment yourself. Thus, you are free to choose between an adventurous overnight stay in nature or staying at a hotel or B&B nearby. Remember that you will arrive in Erembodegem at the end of the canoe weekend. This endpoint is accessible by car, public transport, or taxi. If you are coming by car, you can park along the Erembodegemstraat at Schotte or at the Erembodegem station and then take the train to the starting point. Parking at the starting point in Geraardsbergen is also possible, then you can return to Geraardsbergen from the endpoint in Erembodgem by train or taxi.
