All our canoes in Denderleeuw are two-person boats. Each two-person boat has space for 1 additional child without a paddle (child under 10 years old).

Open from April 3rd to the end of September on weekends, and also on Thursday and Friday during school holidays, from 1 pm to 6 pm. We are closed from Monday through Wednesday.

From Denderleeuw, you can set off with (unsinkable) canoes for a sporty yet relaxing trip on the Dender. Discover this unknown gem and enjoy your journey amidst nature! Between the 2 adults, there is also space per boat for a child (up to about 10 years old) or a small dog that can enjoy the canoe trip.

It is advisable to bring a waterproof bag, sunscreen, a hat, and drinks. In Denderleeuw, you paddle back and forth between two locks, with the starting and ending points being the same. This trip lasts about 1 hour.

At the start, as a participant, you must submit your driver's license or ID card as a deposit for the received equipment. In case of loss or damage, you must compensate for this equipment (paddle €25 - life jacket €55).

In dangerous conditions (e.g., high water levels), the canoe rental can be closed. In this case, you are not entitled to compensation. You can choose another time to come paddling, or the registration fee will be refunded.
