You can easily park in the car park of the Schotte sports hall (Kapellekensbaan 8, 9320 Aalst). It is a spacious car park, which also has several disabled parking spaces.

From the car park, you can walk through the front of the sports hall to our adventure domain. The car park is completely paved (concrete) and, it's free.

To register, please visit our reception area (with bar). The reception is located at the entrance to our domain, next to the wooden building.

To reach the reception, there is a slight slope with pebbles (5-10 mm). You can go to the front where there is a counter with staff. But you can also go around the corner and enter the bar area, the “BarNaVal”. 

Here you will find tables and a counter that are easily accessible by wheelchair. Outside, there are also tables on the grass, under a large tent that provides shelter from the sun and rain. Lockers are located next to the entrance.

Sporthal Schotte has numerous adapted showers and toilets. These can be used without any problems by all Outsiders who come on an adventure.

You must book the showers and changing rooms in advance and a small fee will be charged. Reservations can be made via info@aalstsport.be. 

At the rear of the domain (behind the sports hall), near the large climbing wall, you will find our covered shelter. Here you will find benches and tables that are wheelchair accessible. The floor of the shelter and access routes are made of concrete.

There are also several lockers available on the covered terrace.

You can drive along the gravel road to the foot of our ‘Blue Diamond’ rope course, which has a concrete base. From here, we hoist everyone up to the first level of the climbing course and the adventure can begin.

We are happy to discuss in advance what specific guidance and safety measures are required.

The concrete path runs almost to the River Dender. Where the path ends, it transitions into smooth artificial grass with a stone rubble base. This makes it easily accessible and wheelchair-friendly. From there, you can enjoy the banks of the River Dender.

Those who wish to go canoeing, take a tour in an electric whisper boat or a giant canoe should proceed to the large pontoon. From the artificial grass, you can easily drive over the kerb onto the ramp, which takes you onto the pontoon.  Once on the pontoon, you can easily turn and continue driving up a slight slope to the base level of the large pontoon. From here, you can easily be helped into the kayak, electric sloop or giant canoe.

You can climb on an original factory chimney with us. Climbing starts from a raised platform where we can hoist you up through a specially designed hatch.

From the raised platform, which is made of iron grating, you can easily access the eight different climbing routes.

After the climbing session, we provide a safe descent back to the ground floor.

You can purchase various drinks on the terrace at BarNaVal and at the back of the covered terrace during our park's opening hours.

If you would like something hot to eat, you can visit the tavern “De Looyerij”. This tavern is located on the first floor of the Schotte sports hall. You can easily reach the first floor by lift.

Momenteel is er no geen duidelijke bewegwijzering. Hiervoor is de stad Aalst aan het kijken voor een uniforme bewegwijzering voor de gehele stad. Zodra deze er is, zal alles duidelijk bewegwijzerd kunnen worden. Op de parking, rond de sporthal en aan het avonturenpark
